TRASH2TREASURE PROJECT CONCLUDES WITH INSPIRING FINAL CONFERENCE
The Trash2Treasure Project recently celebrated its successful conclusion at a vibrant final conference, bringing together young people, partners, and supporters from across Europe. Funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ program, the project aimed to empower youth to combat the environmental impacts of fast fashion through creativity and sustainable practices.
A Collective Effort for Sustainability
We extend our gratitude to our project partners—Check-In Portugal, YRCI Albania, and Axion Academy Slovenia—whose collaboration and dedication made this initiative possible. Their efforts, alongside passionate participants, have demonstrated that local action can drive global change.
Transforming Waste into Opportunity
The project focused on equipping 18-30-year-olds with practical upcycling skills, environmental awareness, and entrepreneurial mindset. Through workshops, debates, and community activities, participants learned to see discarded clothing as a resource, inspiring innovative solutions and sustainable business ideas.
